The Montgomery Alabama Dog Obedience Club was founded in 1971 by six area citizens. With a training book in one hand and a leash and collar in the other, these six members embarked upon an adventure into the wonderful world of dog obedience training.

Today MADOC offers classes in Obedience, Rally, and Agility.  The club members are also involved in many volunteer activities to include Nursing Home Visits, School Visits, and sponsoring AKC agility and obedience trials.
